How often does dnhsksa meet?
We meet every other Monday during lunch in Room D111 (Profe Alvarez's class). Most in-lunch meetings are no more than 5-10 minutes. If the meeting is anticipated to be a little longer, there will be an email or remind sent out to notify members so they can adjust their schedules accordingly.
How do I join a meeting for the first time?
Feel free to just fill out the form in the Join/Contact Us page! If you don't receive an answer from us in the next two weeks, you can email us at kor.sa1134@gmail.com or join our remind by texting @ksa1134 to 810-10.
Do I have to be a member to participate?
Unfortunately, most events require you to be a member, as we are a school club and we do have an obligation to account for everyone present. However, joining is very easy and little time commitment, so signing up is highly encouraged.
What are the requirements for this club?
KSA is on the low-commitment side, but members can choose to immerse themselves and participate more. No dues required, and event participation is not obligatory, but we would encourage you to attend a few. The only mandatory meetings are the in-school meetings during lunch - if you plan on missing those, you must notify us via email. We highly encourage attending other events, though - many are virtual or in-school events and you can earn lots of volunteer hours!
How do I get volunteer hours?
By filling out the hours form in the events page, your hours are automatically recorded. Should you need verification or a certificate to turn in your volunteer hours, we can provide that as well. By participating in any event on the events page and logging it in the hours form, you can get volunteer hours from the KSA.
